Lisandro and Carmen Maria were both born in Asuncion-Paraguay. Lisandro played professional soccer in Paraguay prior to moving to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1986, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Post Graduate in Political Science.
In 1990, he was ordained into the ministry in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Carmen Maria earned her piano teaching certification in 1987. Lisandro and Carmen Maria were married in 1992, before immigrating to the US to complete their studies in Kansas City, MO. In 2001, Carmen Maria finished her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music (piano performance), and Lisandro graduated with his Master’s in divinity and Doctorate in ministry.
The Lord has blessed them with children: Giselle Victoria in 1997 and Paulo David in 2003, both a treasure in ministry. In 2004, the Lord called them from pastoring in Kansas City, MO to plant Livingwaters International Church in Tampa, FL, where they serve as Senior Pastors.
Carmen Maria’s passion is worship. She leads the worship ministry of the church, as well as serving the Lord in the restoration of women in every aspect that the Lord has prepared for them as daughters of God.
Lisandro serves as the overseer of the church in preaching the Word, and preparing the next generation of leaders.
Their calling is to bring God’s glory, good news, healing and deliverance to the nations of the world.
